As you may know, we’ve informed you that the heating will be included in the service costs. However, we mis assumed that The FIZZ would deliver heating services.

Deposit and first month rent
The first month rent and deposit has to be paid manually 2 weeks before the contract starts, this is before August 15th if you move-in in September. However, we have decided to move the deadline to August 23d. When the contract was ready to be signed you’ve received an e-mail with the right information. If you did not receive this e-mail or cannot find it anymore, check the information down below.
The amounts which need to be settled before you can check in:
First month rent: Can be found in article 4.6 of your contract
Deposit: €2.000 euro (for apartments larger than 80m2 this is €3000)
You have 2 options to settle your Deposit:
1. Pay the full amount of €2.000/€3000 to the bank account. See bank details below.
2. Apply for a Deposit Guarantee. Instead of paying the full amount, you pay a monthly fee to cover your deposit. You can apply here.
Payment Details for your monthly rent and option 1 to settle your deposit.

The key pick up will take place on August 31st from 15h - 19h in the lobby of the Heiman Dullaertplein entrance. All tenants have booked a time slot of one hour to pick up their key. After you’ve picked up your key you can view the apartment. Keep in mind that it is possible that the apartment could be a little dusty and you’ll have to clean the apartment.

To run everything smoothly and to avoid traffic, please follow the green arrows if you want to move through the Westzeedijk entrance and the red arrows for the Heiman Dullaertplein entrance. This is only for the tenants that follow the road from the city side.

Do not forget to contact your supplier!
Electricity supplier
What is left after the payments to the FIZZ, is to find an electricity supplier. We prefer SamenOM, 100% dutch green electricity. In case you'd like that as well you can register yourself here. (The building is not delivered yet, so it may happen that your new adress will not be recognized by energy suppliers. In that case wait a few weeks).
City heating
Register here for city heating through Eneco. Keep in mind that the apartment has a double meter.

Drilling
You may have already heard it during our previous Q&A sessions, drilling is not allowed. WEST507 is a monumental building and the rules in a monumental building are stricter. Do you want to hang up posters/pictures? No worries! Use for example sticky wall hooks! Be creative 😊

Curtain rails
No drilling?! So how are tenants going to hang up curtains?! We got you! The FIZZ makes sure that in each apartment there will be curtain rails. We try to install the apartments in the month August/September. More information follows. In the meantime, the following regulations apply with this, for your own safety and to prevent damage:

- Curtains may only be hung on the curtain rails installed by the owner (IC Services).
- It is not allowed to hang up curtains anywhere else.
- When selecting and ordering curtains, the weight of the curtain may not exceed 10 kilos per linear meter.
- When hanging up curtains, 10 to 12 runners per linear meter must be used.
- Curtains must be fire retardant.
Tenant portal
You will receive an e-mail from us with your login codes for the tenant portal. In the tenant portal you can view the contract and also make any tickets if something is wrong.

Tags
During the key pick up, you will receive tags from us. With these tags you can open the doors of both entrances. With the tags you also have access to the communal areas: Juliana Zaal, Tudor Room and Gothic Room. For the rooftop terrace and atrium you do not need a tag.

Trash
To keep the area as clean as possible we have trash containers in front of the Westzeedijk entrance. These containers will be installed by the municipality of Rotterdam in the upcoming weeks. For now, the containers are places on parking spots and will be cleaned as much as possible. Please separate your trash properly and put these in the right containers: residual waste, cardboard and glass. If the carton is too big, make it smaller. Keep in mind that fines are handed out!
